I sketched BBC News in my hotel room in Paris shortly after my first watercolor workshop. The workshop was in Provence and we visited a sanitarium where Van Gogh had stayed. I figured that if he could paint his bedroom, I could, too. The work is mounted on a cradled board. The second photo was taken at the opening of an exhibit at the Watercolor Art Society - Houston.
