Ari Melber

I painted this portrait during a class at the Watercolor Art Society - Houston and gave it to a friend who is a big fan of the lawyer/journalist Ari Melber. This was my second class on portraits, the first one was on sketching with a pencil while this one was on watercolor. I wanted a monochromatic portrait and used blue paint rather than using the actual colors in the reference photo.
